Get in touch with Dave Reynolds at Classic Rock. I'm sure he loved LOTTI. I wouldn't worry about Kerrang! these days.

Thanks Angel, I just wish we'd made the effort to play a bit more outside of London. We only did Nottingham once I think - The Mardi Gras, which I believe closed long ago. We were a disorganised rabble though (not that you'd guess from listening to us!) and consequently tended to piss on our own fireworks.
Carl: thanks for the tips - your website suggestion is exactly what we're looking at. You're very perceptive!

One of my favorite bands:
http://verbalassault.com/
They refuse to get back together, but wanted to give something back to the fans from "back in the day", so they did all of this. I love this site, I just wish they would update it a bit more. But they all have lives now.

If this stuff gets remastered stick me down for a couple of copies. Was lucky enough to see you boys on several occasions. Have the 2 eps and the album on vinyl. Would love to see the stuff appear on cd.

So now Sludge is okay. When I think of what used to happen if Sludge was mentioned here, it still boggles the mind.
Kerrang! is useless, Zell is the only thing good about. Better to contact Classic Rock, quite a few of the old K! writers are there now. Deaf Barfly, Dave Reynolds, Dante Bonutto, ex-K!'s all.
Andy Scott, huh? Hey, find out if any of that old TOTP footage is available. All I've been able to find is Musik Laden footage that has too many fadeouts to work right.

Michael who?
Seriously though, thanks for the offers of help. I'll let you know if we need any assistance. By the way, Carl, that website is quite amazing. It would've probably involved less effort though to reform the band! Don't expect anything as spectacular from us layabouts.

Oh, and all the Sweet TOTP performances that survived are available on video. Unfortunately, the BBC didn't realise the importance of what they had and used to re-use the tapes! Consequently, all three performances of 'Ballroom Blitz' and both of 'Hellraiser' (including the classic clip of Steve Priest in the purple cloak) have, along with many others, been lost forever. An absolute fucking disgrace.
Furthermore, is 'Classic Rock' the right place for Soho Roses?

Paul,
i think you could give Classic Rock a try. The last issue I saw had a few lines about Robin Black & IRS. As they say nothing ventured nothing gained.
